Gifted in exchange for an honest review ***Wow, well after spending a rainy day snuggled on the sofa reading Eden Summers 3rd instalment to e Reckless Beat series, I'm sad to see it end.From the first pages where Sidney, Mason and Sean are sat waiting for their Grammy award for their Reckless Beat song collaboration, to the drunken celebrations that later lead to Sidney's career being smashed to smithereens along with her reputation I felt for Her.It's always the woman that bears the brunt of media wrath in sex scandals, whereas the males get a slap on the back!For two years Sidney has watched her clients dwindle after her reputation was dragged through the gutter, when a call from Leah the manager of Reckless Beat begging her to once again work with Mason and try and capture the magic that they inspire in each other and write the bands next hit album. Sidney needs the money, so she goes against her assistant Justin's advice and says yes.Deep down she still feels a connection for Mason, even though she blames him for the leak of the video of her, Mason and Sean. Will she be able to work with him? Will they still be able to create that music magic together?Mason - the Man Whore and lead singer was both simultaneously vilified for the apparent leak of the tape and back slapped for the kahunas to do it! Mason plays the Asshole with pride, but the tole has meant his muse has deserted him.Being back with Sidney may reignite his muse, and maybe give him the chance to tell Sidney the truth about that night.IF he gets the chance before the urge to castrate him takes over Sidney!Forced to work together, they begin to work through their issues and their creativity reignites along with the passion that's smouldered buried in their hearts.Can Sidney and Mason get through the issues of the past and build a relationship, or will someone from the past crash their dreams of a future together?Well I sure enjoyed the suspense, the romance and the friendships amongst the band as I journeyed along with Sidney and Mason as they try to work out who is stalking Sidney. And let's not forget Sean, the hunky drummer and Masons best mate, he's got feelings for Sidney but he realises the Mason and Sidney are meant to be. I hope he gets his happy ever after soon, are you listening Ms Summers If you like rockstar romances that have more than just sex drugs and rock and roll then this series is for you. ( ps there's no drugs involved in this book at all) Can't wait for he next book
