Void and Victory: The Corrupt Carnival

Death and darkness are not the same.

I have watched her and the mates that surround her for centuries. The family she has created have forged a bond stronger than they realize, yet they question their purpose when faced with opposition.

Thankfully, they sought advice from someone who can see past the veil that separates our worlds, and it reignited a fire within them to fight.

Lilu may be lost to the Corrupt Carnival, but I’m watching over her now, and the trials she must face are not for the faint of heart. I fear that she will pass these trials, and that a rift between our two worlds will be what destroys us all.

Yet, I trust my sisters, the fate weavers who stand behind this realm. They have found something in these creatures that they believe is worth fighting for, so I will watch carefully as the Daughter of Shadow and Smoke carves a path through the darkness with her wit, bravery, and selflessness.

The prophecy is unfolding, and everyone will take their place for the final battle. Blood will be spilled, bonds will be tested, and the adversary they face will be one that can challenge the strength of their very soul. Will we all burn to ash in the wake of Hell’s wrath and be lost to the void forever, or will this family of misfits lead us to victory?
