Description

This book was a wild ride from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the culprit was. The author really kept me guessing until the very last pages. It's the kind of story that makes you want to reread it just to catch all the subtle clues you missed. Definitely a page-turner I'd recommend to anyone who loves a good mystery.

This is the first full book I've read by Tana French, and I was intrigued and curious after reading several reviews of her work and write ups on her style of writing. This novel was well laid out, most the characters were strong and well thought out, at times a little to stereotypical. The novel dragged me along I had to see it to the end. I did have issues with Detective Stephen Moran and Detective Antoinette Conway, I felt that they were only two dimensional and the writer only surprised me once with regards to them. I am only giving this book 3.5 stars, I HATED the ending ... so much so that I was annoyed that I had read the book all together and it took time for me to move on.
