the BBC series, looks great and stays pretty close to the book. well there is nothing like reading about someone else's misfortune to really put your own issues into perspective.Tess had it rough, and couldn't get a break.I'm not one who normally reads historical romances, this was full of heartache and tragedy.and reminded me why I don't usually read these type of books.but I'm glad I did read it, as I was in need of a bit of perspective at the time.
