ハデスの剣―パーシー・ジャクソンとオリンポスの神々・外伝

 More Percy Jackson goodness, but in a much smaller package! This was fun, though given I was reading it in e-book form I wasn't exactly doing the puzzles and such included. I didn't mind that much, though; I was there for the short stories and just to see the characters a bit more. I enjoyed reading them and getting some clarification on a few things mentioned in the two main series, including a plot point regarding a Titan that had confused me a little bit when it came up later in the series. I thought I had missed something--it turns out it was this! If you are a fan of the series, this is worth it for the short stories, I'd say, at the very least. The "interviews" with some of the characters are also interesting. It's a lot of fun, but definitely not to be touched until post-The Battle of the Labyrinth.

I love Percy Jackson, and getting to know about little adventures he has had during the normal school year makes it more "personal". In the main books, everything happens during summer. It is cool to know that demigods' quests don't stop just because Summer is over. I enjoyed the 3 short stories, and the interviews were funny, too. I love all Percy Jackson content, so having more is just great.
