Voir toutVAN MUY RÁPIDO... pero no me molesta. Como que ya resolvieron los problemas más graves y me da MIEDO qué otros problemas aparecerán 😭
This is my 7th time reading this book. If that doesn't show how much I love it I don't know what will lol!4.5This is where the plot gets juicy. The bit that genuinely annoys me is Brett, I cannot understand a man that thinks making a video of private moments for the whole country to see will help win a woman back that has said countless time she doesn't want anything more than friendship and yet still pushes the issue. The whole not taking no for an answer is a major ICK for me. It makes them come across as needy and not in a good way. Also what woman would pick Brett over Gideon Cross?? Not a sane one. Also Christopher gets right on my nerves his obsession with using Eva has absolutely nothing to do with helping the band promote Golden it is all to piss off Gideon, for what reasons I do not know.A some points in this book I do find Eva to be a little hypocritical. Yes Gideon used Corinne to help firm his alibi and reasons for not being a suspect in Nathans murder but he didn't cross a line with her, he was up front and honest about his intentions and even though Eva didn't know that he didn't publicly kiss her like she did with Brett. She also went out with him after the release of the video knowing full well what that would look like to people that had seen the video and know their history. She also went to a restaurant that is owned by one of Gideon's closest friends that already doesn't approve of her because he witnessed the kiss after the concert. With regards to them getting married in private I actually think that is very "Gideon". He is very possessive of Eva and wants her all to himself and I loved that the Prenup he wanted her to sign benefitted only her and not him. He wanted to make sure there were incentives to keep her around and that also showed his insecurities and thinking that the only way he could keep her was to promise money. I love that Eva used the name change as a way to finally include her dad.Despite knowing the time sensitive nature of why Gideon went to California I think not telling her was a mistake. That was about her privacy and she deserved to know even if it was a phone call while he was there and that he would explain more when he got back. I get why Gideon acts the way he does but he needs to realise Eva is his partner not someone he can dictate too and expect obedience. That is not Eva at all. This book has so many more points but overall it was just such a juicy read and is the point in the series where all the subplots start to gradually merge together. This series is top tier for me and would highly recommend it!!
