Description

Alora Church is a brilliant scientist on a mission to save humanity, driven by her dedication and fierce independence. However, when an encounter with an alien race throws her plans into disarray, she finds herself in a situation she never envisioned—captured by the Axxeons, who have their own agenda. Instead of focusing on her research, Alora grapples with unexpected feelings and the complexities of her role in a world where the stakes are higher than she ever imagined.

As Alora navigates the treacherous intricacies of intergalactic politics and her evolving connection with her alien captors, she must decide what it truly means to be a protector of her home planet. The challenges she faces push her limits, forcing her to confront her own desires amidst the chaos. With sharp wit and determination, Alora's journey unfolds as she fights not only for humanity but also for a chance at understanding the bond she shares with those who hold her captive.

Yeah I listened it and kept listening to it because it was quick. I regret it because the romance in this book sucked. The treachery on the human governments plot and the enemy aliens took a backseat to a lackluster romance. The author should just try scifi instead.
