It is written in an informal style, with many captioned illustrations supporting the text. There are also photographs, tables, graphs and diagrams. Coverage includes software applications both general and specific, systems software and computer languages, hardware and data communications, business information systems, systems analysis and ergonomics. The main focus is on microcomputers and small systems, with some discussion of mainframes as well.
