Consider Me: A Playing for Keeps Hockey Romance

Going into this book blind was the best decision I could have made. I only briefly read the blurb when I bought the book. That was around 6 months ago.I needed a change and I just picked this book. What I didn't expect when I read this was to laugh as much as I did. This is a very character based book and I didn't think I'd like that as much but I found myself so engrossed in the lives of these people that I was even invested in the side characters. Especially Hank. I adored Hank so much. His relationship with Carter warmed my heart so much.I am glad they didn't do the whole miscommunication troupe throughout this whole book. The little bit at the end annoyed me but thankfully didn't last long. I genuinely believe Olivia and Carter are so perfect for each other, They were sweet and funny while being slightly chaotic.Overall this book was a breathe of fresh air and I definitely recommend it.

I loved this book! Carter and Olivia were so cute and they balanced each other out. There were plenty of laughs and there was plenty of spice. An all round good time!These two had a good relationship arc starting off with Carter thinking he can be his usual charming self and Olivia not taking any of it. It was interesting to see the character development for the two with Carter doing some self reflecting to become a better person and Olivia opening up and learning to trust.The side characters were top tier. This friend group is going to be a good time and I’m excited to see what’s next for them.Would recommend for sure!
