Avis
After rereading this book I now give it a 2. The beginning dragged and was completely boring, the middle was mediocre, but the ending was great. I skipped parts that wasn't that important. This is the first Anita Blake book I was unable to finish. Nearly 200 pages in and her many lovers are who she's surrounded by. I was hoping she would be on her way to Ireland before I turned to the 100th page. I'm finally done with this series and I've been reading them since her first Anita Blake book.
