El reino de los malditos

I went into this book really wanting to enjoy it, but it ended up being a disappointment. The mystery lacked suspense, especially since I suspected the killer from the very beginning. Knowing the culprit so early took away most of the tension the story was trying to build.The romance also didn’t work for me. The dynamic between Emilia and Wrath felt rushed, jumping from hostility to sudden lust without any real emotional connection or believable development. Because of that, I couldn’t get invested in their relationship or root for them the way I wanted to.While the atmosphere and setting had promise, the ending fell flat and didn’t leave me with any desire to continue the series. Overall, this book had potential but didn’t deliver enough for me to rate it higher.

While this book was a bit slow initially, it truly picked up once you got the hang of the lore and world. I love Wrath and Emilia as both individuals and a couple. I can't wait to read more and enter the Kingdom of the Wicked.
