Description
Finding Bridey is bursting with sizzling adult romance, adventure and sex
A 'feel-good' story that twists and turns to a deliciously wicked ending
Bridey Barnes is a 26 year old architect who is desperate for love, but is also desperately afraid of it. Every time a man gets too serious, she ends the relationship, fearing that getting married will prevent her from experiencing more of what life has to offer. That is until she meets Simon, an artist whose career is in decline. He is twenty years older than her and is looking for inspiration; while she is looking to experience something new and deliciously exciting. Bridey's work takes her on a business trip to Berlin where she explores the BDSM scene and discovers her dominant side. After returning to London, she shows Simon how to paint her... in more ways than one.
Bridey gradually changes from a slightly geeky and awkward girl into a confident and elegant woman, but everything is not what it seems as events take an unexpected turn in this romantic adventure, leaving both Simon and Bridey re-evaluating their relationship. Things become further complicated as Toby, a wealthy and charismatic young businessman starts to turn Bridey's head.
Will Bridey find the love of her life? Who will it be and can she overcome her fear of commitment? This story twists and turns towards a heart warming ending that is sure to have you reaching for the tissues.
Pre-Release Review
Romance comedy and sex... this book has it all. I just couldn't put it down. The characters are great and the plot is realistic and enjoyable. Tears, laughter... I was emotionally exhausted by the time I finished it, but the surprise ending made my heart sing (and yes, I did reach for the tissues). A great contemporary romance. I cannot wait for the second book. Go Bridey!
