Genghis: Birth of an Empire
Description
As Temujin grows, so too does his ambition. He dreams of a unified Mongolian nation, but to achieve that dream, he must confront powerful enemies and overcome personal losses. His journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit, as he transforms from an outcast to the legendary Genghis Khan, the ruler who would change the course of history.
This epic tale of power, conflict, and the relentless pursuit of greatness draws readers into a world where courage and cunning dictate survival. Genghis Khan’s story is not merely one of conquest, but of the birth of an empire that would leave an indelible mark on the world.
Avis
A far better telling of the Genghis Khan story than the appalling 1965 film. You really feel for GK and family. I am coming to the end of Cornwell's Saxon Chronicles and looking for a new series. I reckon Mongolia/China is as far as it gets. My opinion: Iggulden is a worthy pretender to King Bernard.[bc:The Secret History of the Mongols|59785459|The Secret History of the Mongols|Christopher Atwood|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1667850189l/59785459._SY75_.jpg|94167770]A much better start.
