I am a big fan of Nora Roberts. I've heard several of her series and different Standalone books as well, and I love her writing style and structure that she has.
Something that I really enjoyed with the story was the insight into the difference between the brides of the manor as well as also seeing the inside of the family in general. It puts into perspective how generation of the generation things were happening as you're seeing in present day the consequences of what that did.
The story definitely ends on a cliffhanger and I've already purchased the Second Story and the third one recently came out now so I will be finishing the entire series but I do recommend it to anyone who likes Nora Robert and also who would like a nice little spooky read.
