Voir toutAmazing story. 4.5/5 ⭐️ from me. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is that this is the first book in league with War and Peace and The Count of Monte Cristo that I would 100% advocate for reading an abridged version. Too many huge parts bloated this story and didn't add much to the plot such as the huge section in the beginning about the bishop, Waterloo, and the sewer systems. The parts of the actual story we are drip fed make it worth reading but i will definetly consider abridged versions of Hugos work in the future.
