This is the second book in the King’s peace series. In the first story the wrath of a mad God was vented upon an entire civilization. The promise of all that carnage and destruction awoke something far beyond the mortal realm. Death has awoken and walks the earth looking for an agent to bring to him a story of good and evil.

This is the story of Edward Lovely, a young man eking out survival on the streets of Erenon. Before the great war comes to the Kingdom, Edward comes across a band of pirates prowling the night looking to rip young children from their families, and he becomes embroiled in the plot. Edward will be taken from his home and fall in line with men of dubious purpose, live through grand adventure and battle with evil. And in the end he will come to reckon with all that he is, was and has become.
