When the Coven turn up at her school to claim guardianship of her, Sage knows that nothing good will come of it. They announce a tournament to win her hand in marriage and she thinks it's a joke at first, but it soon becomes clear that the Coven are deadly serious.

As Marked arrive from all over the country to take part, Sage and her friends must find out what the Coven are hiding, or risk her being married to a man she doesn't love.
