Depois, com mais atenção. e a seguir... demasiado perto. Há algo nela que não encaixa, e, quanto mais Naomi investiga, mais percebe que há segredos ocultos naquela nova vida perfeita. Scene: Described well, I enjoyed the setting and it was well worded but not too over complicated. A handful of places put simply, so we can concentrate on the story and characters. Standard Freida. ****
Characters: Unreliable, messy, complicated and so real. I love the different narratives, this is so realistic. *****
Story: Being gaslit by Freida McFadden might be my new favourite pass time. *****
Recommend?: Yes, Freida all day!

This was another fantastic thriller from Freida McFadden. From the very first chapter, I was hooked and constantly questioning what was really going on. Every time I thought I had things figured out, the story took another turn and kept me guessing. The pacing was excellent, the short chapters made it impossible to stop reading, and the twists kept coming right up until the end. I loved how all the pieces came together, and I never felt bored for a second. What I enjoyed most was the suspense. There was a constant feeling that something wasn't quite right, and I couldn't wait to uncover the truth. This is exactly the kind of thriller I pick up hoping to find, fast-paced, entertaining, and full of surprises. If you enjoy twisty psychological thrillers that keep you turning pages late into the night, I highly recommend this one.
