I am a Nalini Singh PNR diehard fan, but I will admit I was a wee bit scared where this story was going after reading an early sneakpeak ... silly me!!! I should NEVER have doubted the wizardry that is Nalini Singh's writing, she weaves tales in worlds I want to live in. She did not disappoint, I truly fell in love with the Blacksea Changlings ... even more than I already had. Kaia Luna is a complex yet sweet & strong woman. Bowen Knight is the true leader of the Human Alliance but his life is a ticking timebomb.Nalini's understanding of family and all the dysfunction and love that make up families, leaves me with all warm and gooey feeling. 5 Stars
