Description

Nicole Phillips has always valued her independence, but when the endless chores of maintaining her home become overwhelming, she realizes it's time to seek help. She envisions a capable housekeeper who will alleviate her burdens, someone who is diligent and reliable. However, she is completely unprepared for the arrival of a man who is anything but ordinary.

The moment she meets her new housekeeper, she feels a jolt of attraction that surprises her—and not just because he’s undeniably handsome. As the days pass, Nicole discovers that her housekeeper is hiding a shocking secret: he’s a vampire. This revelation turns her life upside down, weaving a complex web of desire, danger, and the unexpected thrill of romance.

As sparks fly between them, Nicole must navigate her feelings and the peculiar challenges that come with dating a supernatural being. Will she embrace the chaos that accompanies her newfound luck, or will fear overpower her heart's desire?

One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands is book #19 of her Argeneau series, and after reading one of my favorite in this series I was slightly disappointed. What I found was that although it was said that Jake was 'forgiven' for having abandoned the family that kept secrets from him for years and years. And for him not coping well with being changed without his permission ... I felt that He was supposed to have been wrong; and I for one would be pissed if I found out those I loved and trusted had lied and helped me not know the family secret. And there is little dialog bout that side of why he left. Probably silly of me to install some 'real' world emotions into the book but hey that's how I took it. 3.5(4) stars
