Description

Reveal Me felt like a deeper, more relationship-focused novella, mainly centered around Kenji and Nazeera. I genuinely enjoyed reading about them together, and their dynamic made this book interesting from the start. On top of that, there is quite a bit of important information in here that clearly sets the stage for what is coming next, which made it feel very relevant to the overall story. One thing that really stood out to me is how much information is constantly being withheld within the group. Adam and his brother being kidnapped and only mentioned a day later felt incredibly significant, and honestly frustrating. That sense of things being kept from each other plays a big role throughout this novella. The development of Kenji and Nazeera’s relationship was one of the strongest parts of the book. The anger, misunderstanding, emotional tension, and eventual surrender to their feelings were very well written. It felt natural and intense, and I was fully invested in their interactions.Reveal Me is definitely an addition rather than just extra content. Especially the ending, which felt like a strong cliffhanger and a clear promise of how intense the next book is going to be.Emotionally, this novella caused a lot of frustration for me. Mostly because Kenji and Nazeera are so clearly into each other, yet keep circling around their feelings for far too long. At the same time, there is real fear and urgency in the story, especially with the reveal that Adam and James have been kidnapped. That alone gives this book real weight.Overall, I gave Reveal Me 4 stars. It is not the strongest installment in the series, and it focuses heavily on the relationship, which did not need an entire novella on its own. But the impact of the information we get, combined with Kenji’s POV and his humor, makes it an engaging and worthwhile read.

Kenji is by far the best character in these books and one of my favorite male characters ever.
