Description

In a world where power and bloodlines dictate one's fate, she finds herself caught in a web of intrigue and danger. Her father’s manipulations have left her vulnerable and alone, and now she faces an uncertain future as she carries the child of a Bloodline vampire. This unwanted pregnancy isn’t just a burden; it's a symbol of the legacy that threatens to consume her. With enemies lurking in the shadows and alliances shifting like the wind, she must navigate a treacherous landscape where every decision could mean life or death.

Haunted by her past and the schemes of those she once trusted, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery. As she grapples with her identity and the weight of her impending motherhood, she must decide what sacrifices she is willing to make to protect her child and reclaim her life. Amidst the chaos, unexpected alliances may form, forcing her to confront the very essence of power and what it means to truly be a queen in her own right.

3.5 stars This series progressively gives us a little bit more plot than the previous books. We get actual character depth happening in this book too. We get more dialog and plot and less sex. Still a smut book to its core. But I actually got into the plot and was reading over the smut scenes at the end. They got repetitive and only a handful were helpful towards the plot.We ended up with unanswered questions but there's a spin off series.Would I read it again? Maybe. For like foreplay though, not the "captivating story".
