Red Canyon:

A Fantasy/Speculative Fiction novel about an evil genius who is having trouble with an evil universe he has assembled; it is not stable and good things keep happening and some of them are odd. He journies to have his fortune told, crashes his time-traveling hovercraft, and finds that things are much worse than he thought; he is a pawn in a meta-cosmic war that involves a hitherto unknown force. The novel describes the beginning of his journey to return to his evil universe and the dubious friends he meets along the way as well as some odd gifts he receives.
He also begins to rediscover some unpleasant things about his past and the corrupt origins of his various plans and motives.
