In this thankless task of preaching that doctrine concerning which most neither know nor care, and which nearly all the rest detest and despise, I would be an humble volunteer, and seek the aid of fellow-citizens to send enough of my views abroad over the land, to enable the public to judge as to whether the doctrine  which surely comes from Heaven, ii' the Bible have any political teachings be worthy of their attention.
