Description
The SARN HELEN runs from Caerhun near Conwy, in North Wales, to Carmarthen in South WAles, about 160 miles. It crosses high moors and forgotten valleys, much of the line of the route lost for years. This book attempts to discover the line of the lost road. In doing so note is taken of old manuscripts, legends, ancient placenames and topography and the result is a long distance walk following as far as possible, the old Roman Road.
