Description
The delicate mixed-media compositions of Iranian-born artist Shahram Karimi (born 1957) grapple with the dislocation and homesickness of Iranian refugees. Karimi's canvases combine floral motifs and his own Farsi poetry with the expressionless faces of the displaced.
