Description
The patterns I put in this crochet pattern treasury are a collection of many of my recent designs. They came about because I’m a crochet addict! I love how crochet gives me an absorbing diversion and something fun and portable, a colorful project which can go with me anywhere. The patterns in these pages give you that satisfaction in bite-sized projects which will usually be easy to do in one sitting. No massive afghan patterns here! They are beginner and intermediate level projects, and a couple of them include a bit of fabric, like a bandana or a small square of colorful scrap fabric. They are easy for the crocheter who is familiar with single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), chain (ch) and slip stitch (sl st) . Add the flowers and leaves to a little one’s scarf, cape or hat, and fill a chunky crocheted basket or bowl with treats for your guests!Chapter One is my set of leaf and leaf garland designs, Chapter Two a variety of small baskets, bowls, bags and recycled “plarn” (shopping bag plastic “yarn”), Chapter Three, some fun and showy crochet flowers, and Chapter Four, four simple, quick and easy baby hats in three to four infant sizes each. You’ll need a selection of yarns and hook sizes for these patterns, mostly hook sizes F (3.75 mm) to H (5.0 mm), and both light weight and medium weight yarns, the weights you typically find in a discount or craft store. I’ve included a suggested list of materials for each project, since it may differ quite a bit from other projects in the book. All of the hook and yarn sizes are stated in U.S. terms, as are abbreviations.Permission to sell crafts made from these designs is, of course, included with this book; however, please do not pass around the patterns themselves, as they are my own copyrighted designs. Now have a blast acquiring a new obsession!
