Fighting dangerous animals and fitting in with his family was hard enough at home. Now Danny's stuck in a strange new country, with a strange new species - girls!

She starts a chant. 'Danny and Kim, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!'
I pick her up and start shaking her like a milkshake.
'Stop that!'
Dad comes out. 'What's this all about?'
'Danny's got a new girlfriend named Kim,' says
Katy. 'I saw them outside, kissing.'
'Were not!'
Dad looks worried. 'Danny, can I talk to you for a sec?'
While Dad is walking out of the room I point at Katy and whisper, 'I'm gonna squash you like a
lemon.'

Being the new kid isn't easy, especially when the other kids laugh at your pants and push you over in the snow. Danny feels like the odd one out. He doesn't believe in magic, but he'll need a trick or two to survive . . .
