I had to rea this for my English class. I swear i hated every bit of this book. My English teacher does not have good taste in books. before stone cold she made us read 'the diary of a part-time Indian'. Which was also a 1 star rating for me. I get the concept of this book and i find it cool that Swindells actually went homeless for a week to help him write it but I just don't think its my tastebut that might also be because we literally had to analyse every single thing about it which was really annoying and we ha to write and essay about too. :(
