The Cinema Swindle

This is the fourth story about the four young detectives who call themselves The Baker Street Irregulars, and are famous for solving crimes which baffle the police.

Saturday night at the Rio cinema - and fire suddenly breaks out in the basement film store. But this is no ordinary accident. It's a case of carefully planned arson. Someone wants the valuable Rio cinema site, and it's just too bad that Peter Pollard the owner doesn't want to sell.

The Irregulars start some private investigations, but they're up against a sophisticated property fraud who will stop at nothing to get that cinema site.
