The Curse

In Part Four, The Curse, Claire and Jack escape Blackbeard's clutches, swim toward the shore of the sound, and away from the pirate battle with the Governor's men. Fueled by adrenalin and longing, they make love in the sand. As they make their way inland toward Jack's cabin, they find the glowing magical stone, and someone ready to step upon it.

A man stands on the stone in preparation to travel forward in time. But what he holds in his hands, and the curse that the thing utters, is what sends chills down Jack and Claire's spines.

The man crosses over and takes the object with him. Jack and Claire know that they need to follow, or they will suffer from the curse for the rest of their lives....
