The Dragon Moldrake

When his village burns to the ground, young Kash is about to discover there's a reason why he was the only survivor.

He can't be burned.

Soon, he is visited by a fiery spirit who summons Kash on the epic quest of a lifetime...a quest to save his world and to stop the unthinkable. After all, only he who can withstand fire can defeat the Dragon Moldrake...

It had been a nightmare.
The fire. The screaming. The burning flesh. Everything burning. Everything. But not him. Even now, as he stood and watched his town go up in flames, Kash was certain he was in a dream.
This can’t be happening, he thought again.
He was naked, of course. The fire had burned the clothing form his body. But only his clothing. He reached up, ran his fingers through his tangled lochs.
Not even my hair.
He had helped as many as he could, dragging them from the flames. Many were beyond help. Most died in his arms. The others stared at him...as if he were a devil or an angel.
Kash didn’t know which.
Now, as he stood outside his burning village, at the edge of a high cliff, naked and alone and shivering, the spirit appeared.
The fire spirit, to be exact.
