This book literally gripped me. For most of it, Seth is, understandably, dealing with controlling himself around Josie, especially when she is using her powers. And after an accident, it all kind of goes down hill until it hits rock bottom.In this book, Josie has taken on a similar role that Alex had in the Covenant series. She knew Seth was good deep down and was determined to stand by that. However, where Alex caved to what others saw in him to a degree, Josie doesn't. She sees Seth for who he truly is, not the monster he and everyone else believes he is. And I love that. Even when he proves exactly what everyone feared, she still stands by him, determined to see the good in him and wants to help him. She has seen what he is but while everyone else has seen the worst sides of him, Josie is dead set on bringing out the good in him. And I hope she succeeds. Seth deserves just as much happiness and love as anyone else. All Josie has to do is listen to her instincts. They are showing her the correct way and if everyone would just let her do her thing, I'm willing to bet it will all work out in the end.
