4.75 ⭐️ Enjoyable story, I just don’t like how long it took me to read it
Book: EragonAuthor: Christopher PaoliniStars: 4.5⭐My Review: I first read this book back in 2009. So I am kinda glad to visit Eragon and Saphira again.A story every budding fantasy reader should definitely pick up and give it a try. It’s a story with dragons and magic woven thickly throughout the whole tale. The story itself is of one young boy discovering who he really is and his battle to defeat an enemy that holds the land under a dark cloud of fear. In my opinion the book goes a little overboard in the explanation of the magic. For me it’s still a great story with action, love, friendship and self-discovery mixed in perfectly to give a tale great for any fantasy reader. My favourite part in the book had to be when Eragon and Saphira battle against Durza the shade for what we all love to read: a battle of good fighting evil.This is NO Fourth Wing and it shouldn't be compared but Eragon will always be my favourite dragon rider..@prompt770 pages Release date: 8 March 2009Book 1 of 5 The Inheritance CycleFantasy • YA • 3.97* on GoodReads
