Admito que no início minha leitura estava lenta. A escrita da Sarah é boa, ela trás histórias leves e fofas, mas eu não tava me conectando tanto inicialmente.

Contudo, quando chegou em 50% conseguiu me prender mais e consegui terminar o resto em horas.
Comecei a gostar do romance e gosto dos protagonistas e dos personagens secundários.

Me vi chorando em alguns momentos, inclusive com coisas meio simples kkkkkkk acho que eu tava sensível.

O Noah já foi noivo antes, não gosto muito disso, porém quando foi explicado deu a entender que o relacionamento antigo nem era tão profundo assim. Parece que agiram na impulsividade e assim eu achei menos pior.

Gostei do clima da cidade pequena, foi algo aconchegante e vou dar continuidade na série.

I liked the book, the couple, and the plot but a few things irked me. One being the only adjective used to describe Noah was 'surely' and to this point I still don't know what it means. I refuse to look it up because it was used so much through the book to a point that it was really unnecessary. I also really didn't like the way a verb was repeated thrice like 'play, play, play' and it happened too much through the book for it to go unnoticed. I also hated that Noah didn't teach Amelia how to make pancakes because it was so important to the plot and it didn't quite sit well with me, but overall it was a good book with a strong plot and a good start to the series.

Their deep bonding moments and the gradual build-up of their chemistry were truly lovely.I really enjoyed their banter, the push and pull between them was so much fun. They felt genuinely compatible: Noah, the classic small-town guy, and Amelia, the pop-star diva!Also, the slow-life moments were so soothing—the heartwarming family and friends, the lack of hustle, and yet a fulfilling life, was just beautiful.But their chemistry lacked that spark and intensity you want in a romance. It was sweet, just sweet🌸… With no real excitement, the romance felt rather dull. Moreover, the whole “we can’t be together because of our different lives” conflict dragged on for far too long. At one point, I found myself just skimming through because it felt so repetitive. Plus, the ending also felt rushed. The author didn't give enough space to Amelia's relationship with her mother, and Susan.𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐋;𝐃𝐑)Overall, it was a cute small-town romance with fun banter, slow-burn chemistry, and soothing slow-life moments, but the romance lacked spark, the conflict dragged, and the ending felt rushed, leaving it somewhat disappointing.

3.4 Okay, wow. After an eternity, finally a good, but it wasn't something miraculous, but still way better than my last reads.
