Visualizza tuttoI absolutely love this book. It is such a page turner and I couldn't put it down!
The Hunger Games take place inside a dystopian regime, marked by the immense inequality between the different districts and restricted travel between each district. Even though the prose can't be compare with other books, even in its simple form, Suzanne Collins manages to navigate the reader through the designated thought process while clearly explaining the causes and consequences of certain actions through Katniss' monologues. Her monologues are logical and concise, focusing on survival and precision over emotions, always thinking of not just the first order of consequences, but also the second and third order.
