Um livro de romance atípico e muito gostosinho, apesar da decisão de Will. O melhor livro pra quem deseja sair do romance óbvio e pegajoso, onde o relacionamento é desenvolvido de uma maneira que quando você percebe, os dois já estão apaixonados.
I'll happily read books based on movies just so I can see sam claflin because I am guaranteed to fall in love with his characters ❤
My thoughts on this:
- I kinda already knew the ending going into this so it wasn’t as sad to read but I still didn’t like the ending.
- Lou didn’t give a good first impression to me. Just the way she was written at the start reminded me strongly of Cecilia Ahern’s female characters. But I’m glad for Lou’s character development.
- I really enjoyed Lou and Will’s chemistry and banter throughout; no boring moments between them. Nathan’s POV chapter on them is my favorite.
- This is a great story, but I won’t be reading the rest of the books in the series.
Eigentlich eher 4,5.Mir gefiel ja schon der Film sehr gut, aber ich fand man muss dann auch mal das Buch lesen und es war so ...wow.Erstmal großes Kompliment an die Filmproduktion, die dieses Buch wirklich sehr detailgetreu zu einem Film gemacht hat und dann noch ein großes Kompliment an Jojo Moyes, sie kann ja mal so gut schreiben!Ich bin nur so durch die Seiten geflogen und habe lediglich ein wenig an Spannung vermisst, weil man es aus den Erzählungen von anderen Lesern und natürlich aus dem Film weiß, wie es endet.Daher werden aber vielleicht Band 2 und 3 noch richtig gut, denn da weiß ich noch gar nichts von, also pscht und lasst mich lesen ;)
It was a great book to read but I'm honestly not big into romance novels like this. I enjoyed it but found some aspects of the story difficult to accept for something attempting to be relatable. I would say that the dark humor Will expresses throughout the story was rather a stroke of genius. I thoroughly enjoyed that. I will say that this story really brings to light the things many people don't wish to discuss and turns it into a live story worth reading.
