This is my first foray into the written down world of Sherlock Holmes. I have always enjoyed the films, and tv series, but I wanted to try something different. I am sad to say that I didn't start with an original Arthur Conan Doyle, but having recently read something about the mid/late 1800's I wasn't sure how easily I would get into it. I definitely believe that Horowitz has done the consulting detective justice, his writing flawless in my eyes. My next move where Sherlock Holmes is concerned is to definitely read some of ACD's books themselves.
