Nicola Yoon a New York Times bestsellerírónője, a Minden, minden szerzője.

3 StarsTo be clear: I don't believe in fate. But I'm desperate.I really wanted to love this book, but I wasn't as amazed as everyone on goodreads was when I finished this book. I think because of all the hype, I thought that this book was amazing. I liked the idea of this book, I love the diversity and how the main characters are POC which I really do like. I also think the author based this book on her life as well, which is really nice, however the whole thing with both the main characters saying that they are meant to be after meeting 12 hours is quite unrealistic. Some of the side characters were ok I guess, but god how I just did not like Jeremy Fitzgerald. Overall, it was good, but not as amazing as I thought it would've been by the end of the book.
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon 344 pagesI had a no idea going into this book thatd I'd have my heartbroken 3x in one book, buy I did. This book started out really slow and uneventful, but it got really good and really emotionally involved. I love Daniel and Natasha's stories. The backgrounds they come from and what they both have had to overcome. Both are from families of immigrants. Natasha is black while Daniel is Korean. It's so emotional to see the stereotypes that they break in this story. I cant wait to watch the movie and read the other book by this author. Pros: Short Chapters, Great character development, decent pace read, breaking of sterotypes, the feelings we see and read in this book, the romance, the scienceCons: starts out slower than I prefer, but still good.
