Settled in a small town, he has crafted a peaceful existence, surrounded by the natural elements he reveres. However, lurking beneath this calm surface is a turbulent history filled with powerful adversaries and unresolved conflicts.

As he navigates his daily life, Atticus inadvertently draws the attention of forces that threaten not only his peace but also the delicate balance of magic in the world. With cunning intellect and a deep connection to nature, he must confront these looming dangers. His journey is not just about survival; it also delves deep into the essence of friendship, loyalty, and the eternal struggle between good and evil.

I listened to the audiobook, which I do not recommend. What I liked: 1. The general story was fine.2. Very much enjoyed Leif. What I didn't like:1. The audiobook narrator was GARBAGE. I don't know why he couldn't be bothered to pronounce any of the Irish words properly, but it took me right out of the story. His voices for various characters were ridiculous, why did Oberon sound like Scooby Do? He did an Irish accent for the widow, but not for any of the Irish gods/goddesses? 2. The dialogue seemed stilted, particularly from Atticus. He's meant to be blending into American society, but no one on earth talks the way he does.3. I found it really repetitive, like Atticus is CONSTANTLY reminding us that he draws his power from the Earth. We get it, dude.
