I was hooked from the verry beginning where we meet Calla, who embarks on a journey to reconnect with her ill estranged father. Upon her arrival we meet Jonah, the enigmatic and rugged Alaskan pilot. Calla and Jonah hilarious banter and his disdain for Calla's city-girl ways brings humour into their evolving relationship. Callas journey serves as a transformative experience as she is forced to confront her strained relationship with her father while navigating her budding feelings for Jonah. I loved how Tucker beautifully explores themes of family, forgiveness, and personal growth. I look forward to reading Tuckers continuation of Callas story.
