Bed of Thorns

BAD CHOICES--HARD TIMES--CONSEQUENCES

Rose Schirrack's life was full of hard choices and when it came to men, she made bad ones. A fateful decision--to become the teenage madam of a brothel--led to still more bad times. Hoping to escape her past and change her circumstances, she makes a "deal-with-the-devil" arrangement with a virtual stranger.

Now, isolated on a homestead in frontier Montana, Rose is caught between the stranger's increasingly bizarre and violent behavior and the growing pains and questions of her teenage sons. Rose's new lover, cowboy artist Ev Marion, makes a suggestion that only adds fuel to an already volatile situation.

BED OF THORNS plays out with undercurrents of desperation, obsession, sex, paranoia, and revenge. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that bad choices have consequences.
