Ex squaddie Dan Thornton is enjoying the year 2012 coming to an end, in the company of a few mates on a typical December’s night in front of the TV.
After flicking over to watch the passing out parade from almost 10 years ago, he finds himself drifting off into a subconscious state – where he finds himself back in 2001, when he signs up for the Army, and leaves home in South Wales in exchange for the Army Foundation College in North Yorkshire.
What will life bring him? He’s assigned to a Platoon run by loud mouthed Corporals and un-politically correct Sergeant Razor Clark from the Parachute Regiment.
