Brother Odd

To escape the haunting memories of his lost soul mate, Odd has retreated to a monastery in the High Sierra where icy winds and deep snow besiege the remote abbey. Odd isn't the only guest: John Heineman is a world-famous physicist who left the secular world because he found the nature of reality, so very weird. Added to this, shadowy harbingers of extreme violence are prowling the halls. Only Odd can see them. Only he knows what their presence means. Among the eccentric monks in their sanctuary, Odd is about to encounter an enemy that eclipses any he has yet known.
