The great catastrophe has occurred on Earth and the only salvation from the imminent destruction is to flee, i.e. for a select group of people to escape on a colossal spaceship, in order to ensure the survival of mankind. Centuries pass and for the new generations the Earth is only a distant tale, almost a myth. They come across a habitable planet, but a secretive sector on the ship has a slightly different plan. Through the thoughts of Callan Brenna, a rough and belligerent member of the Order, we learn that things are not as they seem…

The Call It Earth science fiction novel, by young and extremely talented Croatian author Ivan Lutz, is a genuine futuristic study of human nature and achievements. In an incredibly intelligent manner the author uses an exciting plot to raise the issue of the sense of civilization’s advancement and the solutions that progress brings. The meticulous development of the characters introduces us to the dramatic nature of the novel, and the incredible denouement leads us to lament that we have reached the end.
