China Legacy

In 1948 the Second World War is over, but mercenary pilot James Williamson is still flying for the legendary Clair Chennault in China. The sands of time, however, are running out for the Nationalists and in the ensuing exodus before advancing Communist armies, Williamson escapes into Burma taking with him a young Chinese refugee. To get the girl out he forfeits a share of smuggled contraband, but it s a decision he never regrets, even as they struggle to remain ahead of a CIA agent intent on their demise. Forced into a competition he never intended, Williamson and the girl range through Burma and Thailand in search of a treasure that was supposedly lost over the Himalayas during the latter stages of WW-II. Quest for the fortune has cost several lives by the time Williamson is drawn into the search, but now the question is, will theirs be added to the list?
