It was a confusing plot line, it wasn't really mentioned anywhere that it was in the past, especially after the events of Vol. 03. The repeating song over and over is still highly annoying but... it really sits well in this one, even if the constant song every four pages or so is just. Annoying. The plot line in this volume was really well done, and I love the addition of A and C, and I really found their story interesting; I devoured the pages, desperate to read more about the twins, constantly wanting more. It's a shame that this was meant to be a six part manga but it's been on hiatus since this issue came out. I'd love to read the last two and see how the manga continues and closes.
I came back to Clover months after reading the first volume because I really wasn't sure on how I sat with the manga. Again, this volume seems to be very jumbled and the plot is rather jumpy, with some scenes that seem to have appeared from nowhere. However, this volume was very emotional, and it gave backstory to so many things and it really hooked me in; I think I just read it in 10 or 15 minutes. It's a good volume, a good continuation to the story, but, as I've said, it's still quite jumbled.I'm still unsure of how I stand on this manga and the series; I definitely don't think it's one of CLAMP's best works, but it still stands on it's own as a good series. It's not amazing, however, like I expected after reading [b:Tokyo Babylon, Vol. 1|1188364|Tokyo Babylon, Vol. 1|CLAMP|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348910102s/1188364.jpg|1176356], but I might finish the series and see how it goes.
