Anthony "Slick" Dupree is a man set in his ways. As a business agent from South Carolina, he knows how things are done and he doesn't need some Yankee woman coming down to his territory telling him how to run the local unions.
Brenda Boteler, or Brynn as everyone calls her, has built her career fighting for equal rights for women. In her latest endeavor, Brynn's team has formed the Charleston Organization for Labor Equality, C.O.L.E. She knows she has her work cut out for her, trying to convince the local heads of the trades to listen to her proposals to include more women. What Brynn doesn't expect is to meet a witty, sexy, Southern gentleman who sweeps her off her feet.
