Visualizza tuttoI've loved Henry since the first book in this series and so I was excited to see him get his own book. Having personal experience of how Henry sees and processes the things around him and his feelings, made him so relatable and I really enjoyed seeing how well the author brought his characteristics to life.It was hard to see Henry struggling but knowing how much care and support he had around him once he was ready was lovely to see. Halle felt like the kind of person who you would want to be around and fit perfectly into the Maple Hills family. I would have liked to have seen a little more about Henry's home life as his parents sounded lovely and really supportive.
When I picked this book up I didn't expect to be so smitten by it.I love everything about this masterpiece.I had certain expectations about this having read the previous books in the series-I expected a lot of spice,a lot of clingiliness from the characters but this took me by suprise. This read explored so many complex themes that involve family, mental health, bullying, abuse etc & I must say, im so happy with the way HANNAH handled these topics with so much grace and love. The characters in this read felt so true to life and I loved the part each and everyone of them played to bring this book to life but my absolute fav were H².HENRY & HALLE are both absolutely adorable and so so mature. My fav thing about these two was the support they gave each other despite all the issues they had to deal with besides school and their relationship.I loved that HENRY didn't discard HALLE'S insecurities and emotional breakdowns instead he made her understand just how important she is to him,the people around her but mostly to herself & I love that HALLE understood that Henry's need for space didn't mean he wouldn't want her again or that there was something wrong with her.I loved that they were careful not to turn each others fears and lacks about oneself.I loved this so so much
