This was a completely different read for me, a ballerinas life. I struggled at the beginning and found it quite dull if I'm really honest... but the more I got into the life of Sylvie, I realised how much her feelings are resonating with me. She doesn't feel anything. Her life is a mess, wrong place wrong time, and just feels unhappy and like she's not where she had planned to be. It took reaching rock bottom to realise she needed to sort her life out. The life of a ballerina is brutal, I had not realised how strict this life was. It takes a strong person to live a life that's so restricted!Anyhow, the writing itself was smooth and easy to follow. There's a lot of subjects that may cause discomfort when reading, so check triggers, etc, before reading. All in all, I'm not sure I can say I enjoyed the story really but more that I really related to some of it. I'm looking forward to reading Jocelyns story next.
